Events...
We are the only pub in town to feature regular activities for our customers ... and we NEVER charge on the door for any event; it's your pub as much as it is ours so we believe you deserve to enjoy yourself without having to pay to get in!
Our regular events include an 'open mic' night every Tuesday evening, from 9pm until close (see the live music section for more details), Live bands or other artists every last Thursday of the month from 9.30pm until close (again, see the live music section for more details), a Quiz every first Wednesday of the month (see the Quiz section), and DJs every Friday and Saturday night, when The King's Head transforms into the best weekend circuit pub.
We have occasional one-off events, such as themed party nights (our 70s and 80s discos went down a treat so we'll definitely be repeating them), a beach party, dressing up as Santa's helpers at Xmas, etc. etc. We love to keep occupied!
