If you're travelling from the North (A39 from Bristol):

• Come down the Bristol Hill and at the first set of lights, turn left onto New St.
• After approx 150 metres you'll come to a mini-roundabout
• Turn right here and then at the traffic lights go straight on into Chamberlain St.
• After approx 150 metres you'll come to a mini-roundabout.
• Turn left here for entry into union St Car park.
• Once you leave your car, walk to the corner of the car park, towards "Beah" restaurant and the public toilets.
• Turn right onto Union St and you'll see The King's Head on your left

Please note, you'll need to walk to the end of Union St and turn left onto the High St to enter via the front door.

If you're travelling from the West (A371 from M5 via Cheddar):

• As you enter Wells you'll come to a main set of traffic lights. Go straight on
• After approx. 150 metres (just after the pedestrian crossing) you'll come to another set of traffic lights.
• Keep in the right hand lane and go straight on.
• At the next set of traffic lights turn right into Whiting Way.
• On this road you'll see Wells' main car park, but ignore this!
• At the end of this road, turn left at the mini-roundabout (first exit)
• After approx. 100 metres at the next mini-roundabout turn right.
• This puts you into Union St car park. Once you leave your car, walk to the corner of the car park, towards "Beah" restaurant and the public toilets
• Turn right onto Union St and you'll see The King's Head on your left

If you're travelling from the South (A39 from M5 via Street & Glastonbury):

• As you come into Wells, take the first exit from the main roundabout (at Tinknells Store)
• Go straight on through three sets of traffic lights (2 pedestrian crossings and one main crossroads) and then you'll come to another set of traffic lights at a 'T' Junction, where your only option is left or right.
• Take a right and after approx. 150 metres (just after the pedestrian crossing) you'll come to another set of traffic lights. Keep in the right hand lane and go straight on.
• At the next set of traffic lights turn right into Whiting Way. On this road you'll see Wells' main car park, but ignore this!
• At the end of this road, turn left at the mini-roundabout (first exit)
• After approx. 100 metres at the next mini-roundabout turn right. This puts you into Union St car park

• As you come into Wells, take the second exit from the main roundabout at Tinknells store (straight on)
• Go straight on through three sets of traffic lights (2 pedestrian crossings and one main crossroads) and then you'll come to another set of traffic lights at a 'T' Junction, where your only option is left or right
• Take a right and after approx. 150 metres (just after the pedestrian crossing) you'll come to another set of traffic lights. Keep in the right hand lane and go straight on.
