Weekly Events
Every Tuesday night - 'Open Mic' night - 9pm until midnight
Hosted by local Wells' musician, Ross Kirk, this is our very popular
music session! You'll see a varied mix of musicians every week; it's
the perfect opportunity to try out your new material on an audience
of both musicians and spectators, or simply come along for the ambience.
No need to book, just come along and let Ross know if you're interested
in taking part
Every Thursday night - Poker - 9pm until close (or game end, whichever comes first)
Note - Starting 1st March 2012
Hosted by Matt Hartnett, this is re-invented and rescheduled poker session. We turn the function room into a professional looking poker room for the night, with 4 tables and seating for up to 32 players at once
Every Fri & Sat night - Resident DJ - 9pm until 1am
At 9pm, our rear bar is cleared of furniture and we become the liveliest
pub in town, with Matt, our resident DJ, belting out the tunes to
keep everyone in the weekend mood. Open until 1am

Every First Wednesday - Quiz Night - 8.30pm for 9pm start

Every Second Wednesday - BINGO - 8.30pm for 9pm start
One of the UKs most popular games come to The King's Head! March 2012 is our first bingo session, so come along and support it to help cement this as a regular feature on our ever-filling schedule
Every Second Thursday - Karaoke - 9pm until 1am
Hosted by Alan and Tina of "Boogie Nights", this pub favourite is
guaranteed to create a lively evening for everyone
Every last Friday - Themed night
Join us for a particular theme to keep things interesting. We'll have a different theme every month, on every last Friday of the month, but the next three are:
January - 90s Old Skool
February - 80s night
March - Gangsta night

Oxfam movie night - Thursday 8th March
