The King's Head Football Team
We have our own football team, made up of pub regulars and/or football fanatics. We're playing in the new pub league for Wells, with new pubs coming on board all the time. Our first official game was against The Brittania's team, on Saturday March 7th at The Blue School, and I'm afraid to say WE BEAT THEM 3-2!!
We have our own offical strip and although we have enough players at the moment, we always need substitutes (as pub leagues tend to suffer more from 'hangover absence' than the Premiership!) so please let us know if you're interested in joining our team (Go to our More Pictures page to see a photo of the current squad)
A local pub league should be good fun, as we always retire to the 'home' team's pub after the game for a few drinks and a bit of free nosh, courtesy of the home pub. Who knows where it could lead...
