'Open Mic' Night
We have an 'Open Mic' night EVERY Tuesday, from 9pm.
Hosted by Ross Kirk (for it is he), anyone is welcome, whether musician, singer or simply as part of the audience. Ross is a local musician who'll you'll normally see either working in Wells music shop, gigging around the area or drinking our ales! Dependant on how many people turn up, Ross will allocate some time to each musician who wants to play. But there's no pressure, it's all really friendly and supportive.
Our open mic nights are as varied as can be; sometimes Ross on his own, sometimes a whole squad of musicans with some weird and wonderful instruments, sometimes just singers who'll ask Ross to accompany them.
Our Open Mic nights are a great success; you might want to hone your performing skills, show off a talent, play with other people for practice or simply just meet other musicians. Why not come along and give it a try, we're pretty sure you'll enjoy it and make it part of your regular routine!
Even if you're not a musician, it's just a great Tuesday night out...
